The idea of establishing a center for attracting foreign investments to Greece was first conceived and discussed with the late Professor Andreas Kintis in 2012. The first open event took place on 27 March 2013 (see https://www.atiner.gr/center/Ekdilosi-01.pdf). Then it was decided by all particpants to go ahead with the creation of an independent center with an aim to promote foreign direct investments in Greece. Unfortunately, the death of Andreas Kintis put the whole project on hold.  In 2020 it is more than evident that such a center would have been instrumental in attracting foreign investments during a period of disinvestment.
